Great average for HippoChamp day 2

During the second day of the HippoChamp auction there was an ambiance of anticipation and enthousiasm among the buyers, whom had found their way to Gesves this time.
Eventually there were 25 of the 28 lots offered: 22 foals, one pregnant mare and two embryos. This time, 17 lots were sold for a total amount of 213500 euro, or at an average of 11861 euro.
Auction topper was the filly foal Rapunzel vd Bucxtale, offspring of the top stallion MJT Nevados S (Gregory Whatelet) out of the sister of Primval Dejavu. She was sold for 26000 euro. An equal amount was offered for the Heartbreaker embryo. Silvia, the mother of this embryo not only jumped 1.40m herself, her Challano Z daughter Foreplay 111 is already jumping 1.60m. After a heavy bidding duel, the embryo was sold to a french customer.

Rainbow van 't Zorgvliet, a Cornet Obolensky colt out of a sister of For Joy van 't Zorgvliet, stays in Belgium and switched owners for a price of 24000 euro.
Clash Royal Z; an impressive son of Clarimo ASK out of the full sister of Funky Music, was eventually sold to America for the price of 17000 euro.

The various lots were sold to Belgium, France, USA, Poland and Luxembourg. 17.6% of the foals found a new owner through online bids on Equinia.com.
De organizers of the HippoChamp auction opted for a fully transparent communication even after the first day; the lots that weren't sold will, after discussions with their respective owners, be offered on Equinia.com.
