His sire, the Connemara stallion Avalon Outkast, competed in CSO for young ponies in Ireland, with a golden temperament, strength, and responsiveness. Bawnlusk's dam is a daughter of the KWPN stallion Zwellie 72, a top-level performer combining the bloodlines of Celano (Capitol I) and Germus R, both of which excelled at the highest level. The maternal line of the stallion is interesting due to several maternal full siblings who competed up to 1m60. On the dam’s side, Validnie’s lineage is thoroughbred, with many notable horses excelling in eventing competitions.
