N°7: MELISSAS SYDNEY x ALLIGATOR FONTAINE
An elegant bay male, NIZAR MAIL is seductive in more ways than one. He is the result of a successful cross between MELISSAS SYDNEY and an ALLIGATOR FONTAINE daughter.
His sire is our magnificent young black KWPN stallion MELISSAS SYDNEY (Emerald van't Ruytershof x Mr Blue), whose first foals were born in 2021. He is a grandson of Eric Lamaze's crack NARCOTIQUE II DE MUZE (Darco) from the famous QUERLY CHIN line.
A 4-year-old finalist, SYDNEY was in the Top 10 4-year-olds at the Fontainebleau Jumping Final and Reserve Hunter Champion. At 5 years old, he was again in the Jumping Final, and was also Reserve Hunter Champion. At 6 years old, he again qualified for the Hunter championship. MELISSAS SYDNEY has a superb model and locomotion, with a jumping technique he takes after his sire EMERALD. His young production is truly out of the ordinary, the first foals are 2 years old this year.
His dam, the splendid TOSCA MAIL (Alligator Fontaine) is also the dam of our excellent stallion BALOUBAR MAIL (Baloubet du Rouet) Elite at the Championship at 4 and 5 years of age, whose first 6-year-old offspring were noticed in 2023.
TOSCA is also the dam of HEDDA MAIL, 6-year-old finalist in 2023. She also produced QUIMERA ex ELODIA MAIL (Quidam de Revel), exported to Mexico, and ISAURA MAIL (Catchar Mail), who made her competition debut at 5 this year.
His granddam NORMA MAIL (Narcos II) won in jumping up to age 6, and is the dam of RADJAR MAIL (Kannan) CSI GP 1.45m, AQUAMARINE MAIL (Diamant de Semilly) exported foal to GB, 4-year-old Champion and CSI GP 1.35m, AS EDEN (For Fashion) CSI GP 1.45m and the magnificent stallion ULMAR MAIL (Berlin) Elite in the 4-year-old Championship, vice Champion of Normandy, Finalist and 2nd in the Master des etalons at 5, at 6, finalist and winner of the Master des etalons, at 7 CSI HY 1.40m and exported to the USA Grand Hunter Champion.
His 3rd dam is the "foundation mare" ELVIRA MAIL (Laudanum ps x Adoret z x Almé) dam of champions JAGUAR MAIL (Beijing Olympics 2008, Sire of The Year 2007, CSIO) and KATCHINA MAIL (Champion 6-year-old, CSIO, 14th worldwide 2008, World Reserve Champion 2010).
ALLIGATOR FONTAINE, NIZAR's maternal grandfather, was a great international champion with Eric Navet, French Champion and ISO 190, before becoming a formidable "father of mothers".
