N°13: MELISSAS SYDNEY x DON GIOVANNI DE BEARN

NAVAJA MAIL takes us back to top quality Anglo-Arabs. This excellent chestnut filly, born on 09/06/2023, is a future Eventer or Jumper champion.

Her sire is our magnificent young black KWPN stallion MELISSAS SYDNEY (Emerald van't Ruytershof x Mr Blue), whose first foals were born in 2021. He is a grandson of Eric Lamaze's crack NARCOTIQUE II DE MUZE (Darco) from the famous QUERLY CHIN line.

4-year-old finalist, SYDNEY was in the Top 10 of 4-year-old at the Fontainebleau Jumping Final and Reserve Hunter Champion. At 5, he was again in the Jumping Final, and was also Reserve Hunter Champion. At 6, he again qualified for the Hunter championship. MELISSAS SYDNEY has a superb model and locomotion, with a jumping technique he takes after his sire EMERALD. His young foals are truly out of the ordinary, the first are 2 years old this year.

Her Anglo-Arab dam BABY BOOM DE BUISSY is a daughter of DON GIOVANNI DE BEARN aa, son of CSI 5* champion RYON D'ANZEX aa. Right from the start, BABY BOOM produced a very talented horse HUATACAM MAIL (Jaguar Mail) who qualified for the 4, 5 and 6 year-old championships in CCE (ICC135 at 5). Her little sister JATIVA MAIL (Tresor Mail) follows her quality, qualifying this year for the 4-year-old championship at Pompadour. Then came LILO MAIL (2021 Quite Easy) and MAURO MAIL (2022 Honor Mail).

Her granddam ELARA DE PETRA, daughter of OBERON DU MOULIN (Laudanum ps) was a good winner in jumping (ISO 131), then produced ROCK'N ROLL DE BUISSY (Quercus du Maury aa) good winners in jumping (ISO 127) and eventing (ICC 137), UPSIDE DOWN DE BUISSY (Nid d'Amour de Buis aa) jumping winner (ISO 124), VISCONTI DE BUISSY (Must'Pom aa) very good jumping winner (ISO 139).

Her 3rd dam EXCELLENCE (Samuel aa) is the dam of MAREK DE PETRA (Versailles II) ISO 124.
His 4th dam ERRYME JAC (Courlis aa) a very good jumping winner (ISO148).

NAVAJA has inherited the qualities of both her parents, her sire's model, gaits and her dam's influence. She should follow her familiy quality, if not overpass them.
