NEWPORT MAIL is a cross between two CSI-winning stallions ridden by the same French team rider, Edward Levy.
JUNIOR DU SEIGNEUR (Eternity du Seigneur x Calvaro), whose first significant year in France is 2021, is an 8-year-old stallion making his CSI 3* GP debut at 1.45m.
A talented, stylish horse with plenty of power, he was well suited to our mare HELVETICA MAIL, a powerful daughter of CATCHAR MAIL.
His dam HELVETICA is a winner in jumping for young horses aged 4, 5 and 6 (Patrice Delaveau).
NEWPORT is his second offspring, the first by CORNET OBOLENSKY has been exported to Switzerland at the Brullemail auctions 2022.
His granddam JUST IN LOVE, daughter of breed leader ARGENTINUS, produced in Italy before being imported to France. She is the dam of DIVA DE BOISY (Jaguar Mail), exported to Switzerland and 1.30m GP winner.
Her 3rd dam JOLIE MOME D, daughter of world champion ALMÉ, was a good winner in CSI GP 1.45m before producing the good winners AU PLAISIR DE GUY (Question mark) GP 1.40m, CHABGAR MAIL (Noren) GP 1.45m, DABGAR MAIL (Noren) GP 1.35m, and Italian Champion IKAT MAIL (Hand In Glove ps) winner in CSIO GP 1.60m, ISO 162.
His 4th dam CIRKA (Pancho II aa) has produced HISTORIETTE (Barigoule aa) who is the granddam of champions ORNELLA MAIL HDC (WC Final, CSIO, ISO 175), KELLEMOI DE PEPITA (2011 European Reserve Champion, ISO 182) and SAHEL VILLA ROSE (CSI5*).
