N°10: MELISSAS SYDNEY x STAKKATO
NORMANDY MAIL immediately catches the eye of her admirers. This splendid black filly, who inherited her sire's coat, was born on 02/05/2023.
She's a filly with model, scope, influx, chic, presence and class. She has superb locomotion and balance.
Once again, this is the cross we've been dreaming of, combining the bloodlines of champions NARCOTIQUE II DE MUZE and KATCHINA MAIL.
Her sire is our magnificent young black KWPN stallion MELISSAS SYDNEY (Emerald van't Ruytershof x Mr Blue), whose first foals were born in 2021. He is a grandson of Eric Lamaze's crack NARCOTIQUE II DE MUZE (Darco) from the famous QUERLY CHIN line.
A 4-year-old finalist, SYDNEY was in the Top 10 of 4-year-olds at the Fontainebleau Jumping Final and Reserve Hunter Champion. At 5, he was again in the Jumping Final, and was also Reserve Hunter Champion. At 6, he again qualified for the Hunter championship. MELISSAS SYDNEY has a superb model and locomotion, with a jumping technique he takes after his sire EMERALD. His young foals are truly out of the ordinary, the first are 2 years old this year.
Her dam, DEAUVILLE MAIL, is a daughter of the international breed leader STAKKATO, sire of so many champions and stallions who brings outcroos to this pedigree. She won in competitions from 4 to 6 years old (ISO 120). She produced CCE winner HANDINA MAIL, broodmare JALNA MAIL (2019 Utrillo vd Heffinck), LISBOA MAIL (2021 Catchar Mail) and MALAGA MAIL (2022 Delstar Mail) sold at the Brullemail auction 2022.
Her granddam ORANGEADE MAIL, a show jumping winner up to the age of 6, is the dam of great winners such as the stallion TYGAR MAIL (Quidam de Revel) GP 1.45m, CANDAR MAIL (Lando) CSI 5* in Canada, 2nd in the Rolex GP 1.60m in Calgary 2023 and the granddam of ATHINA MAIL (Jaguar Mail) CSI 3*, GP 1.50m.
Her 3rd dam is our great international champion KATCHINA MAIL (Calvaro) French Champion 6-year-old, CSIW and CSIO in the French team, 11th World Cup Final 2010, Silver Medal at World Championships 2010.
