N°5 : DELSTAR MAIL x REBEL IZ
NELSON MAIL is a magnificent chestnut colt, very expressive, with a magnificent model. He has an excellent movement which he has inherited from his magnificent sire.
His sire DELSTAR MAIL (Utrillo vd Heffinck x Katchina Mail x Calvaro) is a young star stallion whose offspring are highly sought after and very successful in foal championships (several foals champion, 2 year old champions and young stallions) and at auctions where his 3 year old offspring sell very well (between 30,000 and 50,000 euros). They currently compete in the 4 and 5 year old young horse classes, and their young offspring stand out for their quality in jumping (sire of the Regional Champion at the CIR 2022 in Compiègne and of several finalists in 2023).
DELSTAR MAIL was Normandy Champion and 4-year-old French Champion, then winner of the CSI 2* GP 1.40m at the age of 10 with Patrice Delaveau.
His dam, the magnificent MIRABELLE MAIL, Grand Champion of the Normandy broodmares when she was young, is a daughter of REBEL Z (Ramiro), full brother of Grand Champion RATINA Z and sire of CSI winners.
MIRABELLE was finalist in the Hunter championship at 6 years old. Her first offspring VIOLETTE MAIL (Utrillo vd Heffinck) was sold as a 2-year-old at the Brullemail auction in 2011, then went on to win CSI 2* GP 1.35m, ASHLEY MAIL (Quite Easy) and FRUTI MAIL (Quality Touch) Amateur GP, CAMPARI MAIL (Jaguar Mail) exported to the USA, CCE and Champion Hunter.
His granddam PLUS VALUE, daughter of the stallion leader LAUDANUM ps, won in CSI GP 1.45m in France and Italy. She had few offspring, including GP Amateur winner PILAR MAIL (Hoggar Mail), ISO 125.
His 3rd dam EMERAUDE (Mexico) brings the precious blood of FURIOSO ps. She is the dam of the stallion QUENTUCKY (I Love You), SERENA (Laudanum ps) a good ISO 135 winner.
She is also the granddam of the great champion stallion IDEAL DE LA LOGE (Dollar du Murier), CSIO, ISO 182 and his brother QUARAT DE LA LOGE, CSI, ISO 172.
His 4th dam PATINE daughter of the great stallion leader NITHARD aa, is the dam of the good CSI winners TANIA DU CONTÉ (Zephir aa ISO 141, URGENCE (séducteur aa) ISO 156, KASTELINE (barigoule aa) ISO 151,
NELSON's pedigree features double linebreeding on the Brullemail stud's founding stallions ALMÉ and LAUDANUM.
